School Holiday Program

Oriel Park equestrian offers a 5 day school camp running from Monday to Friday, daytime only, for children of all ages over the Christmas school holidays. We have 3 camps available, over 3 weeks, each running for 1 week:

• 1st Camp - 1st week Monday the 7th of January until Friday the 11th of January 2013
• 2nd Camp - 2nd Week Monday the 14th of January until Friday the 18th of January 2013
• 3rd Camp - 3rd week Monday the 21st of January until Friday the 25th of January 2013 (Advanced camp only) Sorry the 3rd camp is currently FULL.

The children have daily riding lessons and horse mastership workshops. Workshops include all aspects of horse care and competition preparation. Riders receive camp workbooks to enable them to record all their new horsey information and prizes are given out at the end of the camp for the best work book. The camp also includes two horsey excursions. Our first excursion is our beach swim with the horses, riders and two of the horses are taken to Whitfords animal beach to experience an exhilarating ride on the horses in the water. Our second excursion is to our local saddlery stores so riders can see firsthand all the different and unique equestrian equipment that is available today.

Camps are fully supervised by staff with senior first aid certificates and working with children checks. All riding levels are welcome on the camps from complete beginners to advanced riders as we are able to cater to every ones needs.
