Meet the Horses
Welcome to the Oriel Park stables, please make your acquaintance with our beautiful riding school horses.
Cappy
Cappy’s show name is Kalara Park Cappuccino he is a 12.2hh welsh section riding pony. He has a pale palamino coat with white socks and a white stripe on his face and is super cute. Cappy has taught many children to ride, he is a reliable and safe little pony to have your first group lesson or lunge lesson on. Cappy has spent many years as a show pony and pony club all-rounder with wins at the Perth Royal Show and local Agricultural Shows.
Jaspar
Jaspar is a 15.2hh quarter horse cross mare who is the perfect all rounder and confidence builder. She has spent many years at pony club with much success in the hack ring. She is a much loved and favorite addition to our riding school barn.
Shem
Shem is a 15.2hh standard bred gelding. He is our longest serving riding school horse and a true gentleman. Shem has been well educated and excels in all disciplines including lateral work and has won many pleasure hack classes. He is a great confidence builder and has given many people their confidence back.
Moo
Moos full name is Ycuttamoocow and he is a beautiful black 14.3 3/4hh quarter horse gelding Moo has currently been competing in his first official year of hacking after much success in the unofficial ring. He has also been a reliable mount at EFA and AHRC workshops and clinics displaying his ability and diversity in dressage, show jumping and cross country riding.
Soxy
Soxys show name is Smithfields Elegance and he is a 14.0hh brown black riding pony gelding. Originally from the eastern states Soxy has an impressive show ring history. He has won numerous champion ribbons and taught many children to ride. He is excellent for your first canter lesson with his comfortable stride.
Bossy
Bossys show name is Beelo Bi Boss Cocky. He is a 13.2hh Australian pony gelding who is a very cute and forward moving pony. Bossy is a great all rounder and has won many ribbons in the unofficial ring and pony club days. He is a big favourite with our younger riders.
Tabby
Tabbys show name is Judaroo Tabatha and is a 13.2hh grey welsh pony mare. Tabby has been a champion games pony and show jumper in her younger years, representing her local pony club in many state competitions. She is still active in the competition ring and continues to beat all the other schoolies when it comes to games.
Jess
Jessies show name is Oriel Parks Jessie Girl. Jessie is a super cute 12.0hh grey pony mare. She is a sweet and reliable mount for all our littlies and regularly hits the show scene in lead line and first ridden classes.
