Meet the Horses
Welcome to the Oriel Park stables, please make your acquaintance with our beautiful riding school horses.
Cappy
Cappy’s show name is Kalara Park Cappuccino he is a 12.0hh welsh section riding pony. He has a pale palamino coat with white socks and a white stripe on his face and is super cute. Cappy has taught many children to ride, he is a reliable and safe little pony to have your first group lesson or lunge lesson on. Cappy has spent many years as a show pony and pony club all-rounder with wins at the Perth Royal Show and local Agricultural Shows.
Jaspar
Jaspar is a 15.2hh quarter horse cross mare who has been a part of our school for many years. It was decided that Jazpars time to enjoy retirement has come, she is kept locally enjoying lots of carrots and relaxing in her paddock
with her new family. Miss you Jaz.
Moo
Moos full name is Ycuttamoocow and he is a beautiful black 14.3 3/4hh quarter horse gelding Moo has currently been competing in his first official year of hacking after much success in the unofficial ring. He has also been a reliable mount at EFA and AHRC workshops and clinics displaying his ability and diversity in dressage, show jumping and cross country riding.

Darcy
Darcy – Is our stunning Andalusian gelding he has heaps of character 
and loves all the attention (really,really loves the attention)
He is a great horse to ride to focus on your dressage and improve position.
Darcy has also competed in 2012 and won many champion ribbons.

Zac
Zac has been a part of the Hillview/Oriel Park team since he was 4 years old. Zac is a 31.1hh grey Australian Pony, bred at the Beelo Bi Pony Stud. His show name is Beelo Bi Mungo and he has been a much loved part of our family for over 10 years! Zac is a super lunge pony with a little trot and canter making it easy for all our beginner riders to learn on.

Monty
Monty is the cheeky younger version of Zac, he is also a Beelo Bi bred pony and his show name is Beelo Bi Royal Time. Monty is also a 13.1hh grey super cute pony and perfect for our junior intermediate riders.

Khana 
Khana is our gentle soul, she is a very sweet 15.2hh chestnut thoroughbred mare
that has the best rocking horse canter and looks after all her riders with the utmost care.
Khana has competed at local shows and has won
champion and reserve champion hack classes as well as attending local pony clubs with her lease rider.

Woody
Woody is a super all-rounder he excels in dressage,
jumping and games.
Has been out to Pony Club and local shows always coming home with heaps of ribbons.
With a very loveable and cuddly nature he is a true gentleman and will stand for hours to be brushed and hugged.

Christos
Christos is our gorgeous Connemara X Welsh pony with his super cute looks
and sweet nature he is very popular with our adult riders.
Christos is a regular on the dressage and hack scene and always comes home with the blue ribbons!
He is a forward going pony with an amazing amount of energy!
But being such a good boy happily turns to teaching our beginners on the lunge with ease.

Gorro
Gorro is our biggest horse standing at 16.2hh but is the sweet gentle giant, his loveable nature, willingness to work and ability to do everything make him a popular school horse with all our riders.

A.J
A.J is one of our bigger horses and being a quarter horse has that kind laid back nature
that makes riding him a pleasure. A.J has enjoyed his first year out at pony club in 2012
and was a great all rounder. He has done extremely well with his young lease rider and they achieved
their first broad sash (Reserve Champion Hack) at their last show.

Chaddy
At 13.2hh Chaddy has trained to elementary/medium in pony dressage. He never runs out of go and is the best little dressage pony. Chaddy is excellent for refining your aids and developing riders ability to practise higher movements in dressage.

Dee
Dee is our super sweet paint mare she is 14.2hh and has a really loveable nature. As Dee is still quite young she is continually developing her schooling and is popular with many of our adult riders for private lessons.

Jess
Jessies show name is Oriel Parks Jessie Girl. Jessie is a super cute 11.2hh grey pony mare. 
She is a sweet and reliable mount for all our littlies and regularly hits the show scene in lead line and first ridden classes.
